R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may |
|
temper the profound sadness felt by the loved ones of Ralph |
|
M. Lazarine of San Antonio, who passed away on June 10, 2011, at the |
|
age of 64; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born on October 1, 1946, to Benito and Hortence |
|
Lazarine, Ralph Lazarine graduated from Highlands High School and |
|
attended San Antonio College; he answered his nation's call to duty |
|
with service in the United States Air Force and went on to become a |
|
lifetime member of VFW Post No. 76; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Lazarine worked at Datapoint Corporation for a |
|
quarter of a century before retiring and then served as chief |
|
operating officer at Resco Electronics; he shared his time and |
|
energy with the University Transplant Center; above all else, he |
|
was devoted to his wife of 43 years, Nora Lazarine, and to his |
|
children, Deborah and Ralph; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although Ralph Lazarine will be deeply missed, |
|
cherished memories of time spent in his company will long endure in |
|
the hearts of his family and friends; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of |
|
Ralph M. Lazarine and extend sincere condolences to the members of |
|
his family: to his wife, Nora Lazarine; to his daughter, Deborah |
|
Ramirez-Cotter; to his son, Ralph Lazarine, Jr., and his wife, |
|
Sarah; to his grandchildren, Jillian, Jared, and Jordan Cotter, |
|
Ralph Lazarine III, Gabriella and Derek Lazarine, and Ashleigh Ard; |
|
to his great-grandchild, Makenzie Ard-Humes; to his brothers, |
|
Antonio and Albert Lazarine; to his sisters, Diana Galan and Debora |
|
Lazarine; to his sisters-in-law, Rebecca and Mary Lou Lazarine; and |
|
to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Ralph |
|
M. Lazarine. |
