R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dan Hernandez was reelected to Place 4 on the Cedar |
|
|
Hill Independent School District Board of Trustees in May 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A trustee since 2002, Mr. Hernandez has served with |
|
|
distinction as vice president and president of the board; prior to |
|
|
his election, he supported the district through his work on a number |
|
|
of committees; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Hernandez is employed by the Office of Inspector |
|
|
General; a valued resident of Cedar Hill for 20 years, he has held |
|
|
leadership positions with the Boy Scouts of America and with his |
|
|
parish at Holy Spirit Catholic Church; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout his tenure on the board, Mr. Hernandez |
|
|
has demonstrated a notable commitment to ensuring that Cedar Hill |
|
|
students have the opportunity to receive an exemplary education, |
|
|
and it is indeed fitting to recognize him for his dedication to |
|
|
these young Texans; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Dan Hernandez |
|
|
on his reelection to the Cedar Hill Independent School District |
|
|
Board of Trustees and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success with his important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Hernandez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
