R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, A life rich in family, friends, and meaningful
  accomplishments drew to a close with the passing of Jo Ann Okle of
  Irving on May 28, 2011, at the age of 71; and
         WHEREAS, Born on May 3, 1940, in Nowata, Oklahoma, to Emmett
  Franklin and Ava Dell Brown, the former Jo Ann Brown was one of
  eight children; she shared 51 years of marriage with her husband,
  Clifford, and together the devoted couple welcomed into their
  family a son, Dennis, and two granddaughters, Niki and Lindsay; and
         WHEREAS, Those fortunate enough to have spent time in the
  company of Jo Ann Okle will remember how she touched their lives
  with her sweet and gentle spirit, and she will forever hold a
  treasured place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of
  Jo Ann Okle and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her
  family: to her husband, Clifford R. Okle; to her son, Dennis Okle,
  and his wife, Debbie; to her grandchildren, Niki and Lindsay Okle;
  to her brothers, Emmett, Buddy, and Elbert Brown; to her sister,
  Sibbie Sams; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jo Ann
  Okle.
