R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The family and friends of U.S. Army Private Andrew |
|
|
Mark Krippner of Garland suffered an immeasurable loss with the |
|
|
death of this beloved young man on May 23, 2011, at the age of 20; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry |
|
|
Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Private |
|
|
Krippner was killed while bravely serving his country in Kunar |
|
|
Province, Afghanistan; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Born April 22, 1991, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, Andrew |
|
|
Krippner was the son of Kenneth and Pamela Krippner; he graduated |
|
|
from June Shelton High School and enlisted in the army; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exemplifying the highest ideals of the U.S. armed |
|
|
forces, Andrew Krippner inspired others with his leadership and |
|
|
service, and those who were fortunate enough to know him will always |
|
|
remember his wonderful sense of humor and will forever carry his |
|
|
memory close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of |
|
|
U.S. Army Private Andrew Mark Krippner and extend deepest sympathy |
|
|
to all those who mourn his passing; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Private |
|
|
Andrew Mark Krippner. |
