Thomas Andrew Bohall |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and |
|
|
commemorates the life of Sergeant Thomas Andrew Bohall of the |
|
|
United States Army, who died May 26, 2011, at the age of 25, while |
|
|
serving his country in Afghanistan in support of Operation |
|
|
Enduring Freedom; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Sergeant Thomas Bohall was assigned to the 4th |
|
|
Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 159th Combat Aviation |
|
|
Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Kentucky; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS, He joined the Army in August of 2005 and arrived |
|
|
at Fort Campbell in Kentucky in October of 2008; a dedicated and |
|
|
highly trained soldier, he served two tours of duty in Iraq and |
|
|
was on his second tour in Afghanistan; he had earned several |
|
|
decorations and awards; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Thomas Bohall was an exemplary soldier and a |
|
|
|
|
|
that will be treasured forever by his family, his many friends, |
|
|
and all those whose lives he touched; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby extend sincere |
|
|
condolences to the bereaved family of Thomas Andrew Bohall: his |
|
|
wife, Jessica; his daughter, Annabelle; his mother, Lorna Geist; |
|
|
his father and stepmother, Tim and Marla Bohall; his two |
|
|
brothers; and his sister; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
|
his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |
|
|
Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
|
|
memory of Thomas Andrew Bohall. |
