SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 136
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Perry Edward Woelke
 
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
 
  at the age of 71; and
         WHEREAS, Perry Edward Woelke was an exemplary citizen who
  was widely admired in his community for his many achievements;
  and
         WHEREAS, Perry Woelke was born September 17, 1939, in
  Seguin; he was a 1958 graduate of Alamo Heights High School, and
  he married his high school sweetheart, Joyce Jakeman; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Woelke moved with his family to Houston in
  1972, and he enjoyed a long and productive career with the
  Whirlpool Corporation; and
         WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and compassion, he
  gave unselfishly to others, and his wisdom, warmth, and valued
  counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew him; and
         WHEREAS, He was a devoted husband, father, and
  grandfather, and he leaves behind memories that will be treasured
  forever by his family and many friends; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby extend sincere
  condolences to the bereaved family of Perry Edward Woelke: his
  son, Perry Woelke; his daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and
  Tom Cunningham and Stacey and Michael Hazlewood; his brothers and
  sister-in-law, Gary Woelke and James and Clarice Woelke; and his
  four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 
  and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in memory of
  Perry Edward Woelke.
