Amend CSHB 1 (house committee printing) as follows:
(1) Under Article XI appropriations to the Texas Workforce Commission (page XI-5), add the following appropriately numbered rider:
____. Contingency for HB 2886. Contingent on the enactment and becoming law of HB 2886, 82nd Legislature, Regular Session, 2011, or other similar legislation, for the fiscal year beginning September 1, 2011, $5 million is appropriated from the general revenue fund to the Texas Workforce Commission for the purpose of funding programs and expenditures administered by the commission relating to employment and community services in addition to other money appropriated for those purposes.
(2) Adjust the article totals accordingly.
