Office of the Forensic Services. Contingent upon the enactment of legislation which creates an Office of Forensic Services or similar office within the Department of State Health Services, in addition to amounts appropriated above, any monies associated with the fees associated with the legislation, funds previously allocated to the Texas Forensic Science Commission, and funds previously appropriated to the Department of Public Safety for forensic laboratory certification are hereby appropriated to the Department of State Heath Services for the FY 2012/2013 biennium for the purpose of direct and indirect costs associated with the duties of the Office of the State Medical Examiner.
