Amend CSHB 27 (house committee printing) as follows:

(1) On page 1, line 21, through page 2, line 1, strike the text and substitute the following:

and costs, the court shall allow the defendant to pay the fine and costs in specified portions at designated intervals.

(2) On page 2, lines 19-23, strike the text and substitute the following:

costs, the justice or judge shall allow the defendant to pay the fine and costs in specified portions at designated intervals.

(3) Strike SECTION 4 of the bill and renumber subsequent SECTIONS of the bill accordingly.
