Amend CSHB 275 by adding the following appropriately numbered SECTION to the bill and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS as appropriate:

SECTION ____.  The 82nd Legislature of the State of Texas expresses support for and urges the Texas Department of Transportation to provide funding for the promotion of economic development through the construction by the City of Dallas of a streetcar line connecting downtown Dallas and Oak Cliff.
