Amend CSHB 417 (house committee printing) as follows:

(1) Strike SECTION 2 of the bill (page 1, line 8, through page 2, line 14).

(2) Strike page 2, lines 15-19, and substitute the following:

SECTION 2. Subchapter A, Chapter 103, Civil Practice and Remedies

(3) Renumber SECTIONS of the bill appropriately.
