| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 504.202, Transportation Code, is amended | ||
| by adding Subsection (i) to read as follows: | ||
| (i) License plates issued under this section may be | ||
| personalized with up to four characters, with those characters | ||
| being in addition to the required letters "DV". | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. | ||
