A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to a requirement that interviews conducted in connection |
|
|
with school district personnel matters be recorded by a certified |
|
|
shorthand reporter. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 11.1513, Education Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (k) to read as follows: |
|
|
(k) The employment policy must provide that any interview |
|
|
conducted in connection with the investigation of a district |
|
|
personnel matter be recorded by a certified shorthand reporter. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. |
