A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the disposition of fines for traffic violations |
|
|
collected by certain municipalities. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 542.402, Transportation Code, is amended |
|
|
by adding Subsection (b-1) to read as follows: |
|
|
(b-1) Subsection (b) does not apply to a municipality with a |
|
|
population of more than 1,000 but less than 1,200 for which part of |
|
|
the municipal boundary is a river that forms part of the boundary |
|
|
between two counties. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. |
