A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the registration of certain physical therapy facilities |
|
|
by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 453.213(a), Occupations Code, is amended |
|
|
to read as follows: |
|
|
(a) The board by rule shall adopt requirements for the |
|
|
registration and renewal of a registration of a physical therapy |
|
|
facility. A facility licensed under Subtitle B, Title 4, Health and |
|
|
Safety Code, is exempt from the registration requirements under |
|
|
this section. The board by rule may exempt other facilities as |
|
|
appropriate. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. |
