A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to requiring certain victim information to be attached to
  certain arrest warrants.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Chapter 15, Code of Criminal Procedure, is
  amended by adding Article 15.021 to read as follows:
         Art. 15.021.  INFORMATION ATTACHED TO WARRANT. If a warrant
  is issued for the arrest of a person alleged to have committed an
  offense under Section 25.07, Penal Code, or an offense listed in
  Subsection (a)(1) of that section, the arresting officer must
  attach to the warrant a written statement identifying the victim of
  the alleged offense, if that information is available to the
  arresting officer.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
