H.C.R. No. 65
 
 
 
HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, Members of Leadership Killeen are visiting the State
  Capitol on April 13, 2011, to gain further insight into the workings
  of state government; and
         WHEREAS, Established in 1986 by the Greater Killeen Chamber
  of Commerce, this exceptional program provides opportunities for
  Killeen residents to increase their knowledge of vital public
  issues and to meet with the legislators and local officials who are
  making decisions that affect this state; and
         WHEREAS, Sessions throughout the yearlong program are
  designed to acquaint participants with local issues and to
  encourage them to become effective contributors to the growth and
  direction of their communities; and
         WHEREAS, Endeavoring to foster a more informed and involved
  citizenry and to develop new leaders in Killeen, the program is
  helping to build a brighter and more promising future for the Lone
  Star State; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the 82nd Legislature of the State of Texas
  hereby recognize April 13, 2011, as Leadership Killeen Day at the
  State Capitol and extend to the members of the program sincere best
  wishes for continued success with their important work; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Leadership Killeen as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives and Senate.
