R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Carriel and Jannette Nipp celebrated |
|
|
their 60th wedding anniversary on December 29, 2010; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Nipp were joined in matrimony in 1950 at |
|
|
a ceremony held in Altus, Oklahoma; they shared in the joy of |
|
|
welcoming five children into their family, and they cherish the |
|
|
time they spend with their 13 grandchildren at their home on Possum |
|
|
Kingdom Lake; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. and Mrs. |
|
|
Nipp owned and operated Snowhite Laundry and Linen Service in |
|
|
Midland for nearly 50 years; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past six |
|
|
decades, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant in |
|
|
their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love has |
|
|
enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace |
|
|
and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Carriel and Jannette Nipp on their |
|
|
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Nipp as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
