R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Sarah L. Hirsch of Houston has been named director
  of party administration of the Harris County Democratic Party; and
         WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of the Bayou City, Ms. Hirsch
  graduated from Lamar High School and went on to earn her bachelor's
  degree from the University of Houston-Downtown; and
         WHEREAS, She gained experience working on the Obama for
  America campaign and volunteering with the Harris County Democratic
  Party before joining the staff of that group's 2010 Coordinated
  Campaign as volunteer coordinator and director of operations; and
         WHEREAS, In her new position, Ms. Hirsch is responsible for
  managing the operations of the party, implementing key strategies
  and policies, and managing the volunteer staff; and
         WHEREAS, Engaged in her community and dedicated to her
  profession, Sarah Hirsch is an able leader, and she may indeed
  reflect with great pride on her notable achievements as she takes on
  her role as director of party administration; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Sarah L. Hirsch on being named
  director of party administration of the Harris County Democratic
  Party and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Hirsch as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
