R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Bob and Sue Stone of Temple celebrated their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary on December 17, 2010, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Robert Stone and the former Sue Henley exchanged the |
|
|
vows of matrimony at First Baptist Church in Jefferson City in 1960, |
|
|
and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other |
|
|
a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Stone count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes their sons, John Stone and his wife, Joan, |
|
|
and David Stone and his wife, Melissa, as well as four |
|
|
grandchildren, with whom they share the many special occasions of |
|
|
life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Bob and Sue Stone have brought to |
|
|
their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Bob and Sue Stone on their golden |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Stone as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
