R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, December 28, 2010, marked the 50th wedding |
|
|
anniversary of Robert and Alice Hoelscher of Red Ranger, providing |
|
|
a fitting opportunity to reflect on their memorable journey |
|
|
together as husband and wife; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hoelscher were joined in matrimony in |
|
|
1960 at a ceremony held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cyclone; |
|
|
through the years, they have been blessed with a treasured family |
|
|
that includes three children, Jason, John, and Neal Hoelscher, and |
|
|
six grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of the Red Ranger community for 39 |
|
|
years, Mr. Hoelscher is self-employed with Hoelscher Pest Control |
|
|
and has also worked for Hoelscher Gin, Uncle Ben's Rice, and Tate |
|
|
and Roe, while Mrs. Hoelscher served as an insurance underwriter |
|
|
for Cravens Dargan & Company and later retired from Temple |
|
|
Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The 50 years of marriage that Mr. and Mrs. Hoelscher |
|
|
have shared is eloquent affirmation of the meaning of love and |
|
|
commitment, and their enduring union is an inspiration to all who |
|
|
know them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Robert and Alice Hoelscher on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Hoelscher as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
