R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The passing of Trina Maree Bonds of San Antonio on
  August 18, 2009, at the age of 53, brought a profound loss to the
  family and friends of this esteemed Texan; and
         WHEREAS, Born in Corpus Christi on August 22, 1955, the
  former Trina Crawford was the fifth child of Earby and Ann Crawford;
  she married Daryl C. Bonds in 1973 and moved to San Antonio two
  years later; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Bonds was a devoted mother to her three
  children, William, Evette, and Levi; a longtime member of Faith
  Tabernacle Church of Deliverance, she joined Abba Father Son
  Ministries in 2007 and served as armor bearer to Pastor Cassandra
  Swain under the leadership of Elder/Pastor Jesse Swain; and
         WHEREAS, Kind and compassionate, Ms. Bonds gave cheerfully of
  her time and talents to her church and to those in need; she
  expressed her strong faith through word and song and loved to hum as
  well as sing in praise; throughout her lifetime, she demonstrated
  generosity and was a source of comfort, counsel, and inspiration to
  many; and
         WHEREAS, Trina Bonds was a blessing in the lives of her loved
  ones, and although she is deeply missed, all who mourn her may find
  solace in their memories of her joyful, giving nature and spiritual
  strength; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Trina Maree Bonds and
  extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her
  children, William Crawford, Evette West and her husband, Eric, and
  Levi Bonds, Sr., and his wife, Tamethia; to her grandchildren,
  Alexis, Nathaniel, Levi, Brianna, Demitius, Nyah, Asiah, Sarai, and
  Justice; to her sisters, Andrea Crawford, Hope Crawford, and
  Michelle Sapenter; to her brother, William G. Crawford, and his
  wife, Kathy; to her sister-in-law, Dr. Cheryl Crawford; and to her
  many other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Trina Maree
  Bonds.
