R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Louis DeLaRosa, Jr., and Ophelia DeLaRosa of Temple |
|
|
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 1, 2011, and |
|
|
they may indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they |
|
|
have shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Louis DeLaRosa, Jr., and the former Ophelia Aldama |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony at St. Monica Catholic Church in |
|
|
Cameron in 1961, and over the course of their marriage, they have |
|
|
found in each other a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. DeLaRosa count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes their daughters, Maria Theresa Villarreal |
|
|
and her husband, Rudy, and Betty Marie Nemec and her husband, |
|
|
Stanley, with whom they share the many special occasions of life; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Louis and Ophelia DeLaRosa have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Louis DeLaRosa, Jr., and Ophelia |
|
|
DeLaRosa on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. DeLaRosa as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
