R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, No words can diminish the pain of a young life cut
  short, and it is with deep sadness that we join in mourning the loss
  of Alex Wilson of Arlington, who died on September 11, 2009, at the
  age of 20; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Toby and Kim Wilson, Alex Wilson
  graduated from Oakridge High School in 2007; continuing his
  education, he went on to attend Baylor University; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson brightened the world around him with his
  ready smile; his warm, outgoing nature brought him a host of
  admirers, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand or give a
  hug to someone who needed encouragement; and
         WHEREAS, In his leisure time, Mr. Wilson enjoyed pursuing his
  interests in cars, boats, and golf; he took his greatest delight,
  however, in the numerous close friendships he formed; and
         WHEREAS, Alex Wilson brought joy to countless people, and
  those who were privileged to know him will forever treasure their
  memories of many happy times spent in his company; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Alex Wilson and extend
  sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his parents,
  Toby and Kim Wilson; to his sister, Mary Alden Wilson; to his
  grandparents, Jerry and Persis Forster; to his aunt, Persis Ann
  Forster, and her husband, Steve Burdick; to his uncle, Greg Wilson,
  and his wife, Sandi; to his cousins, Nathan Wilkes, Haley Wilson,
  and Kacie Wilson; to his girlfriend, Stephanie Ellis; and to his
  other relatives and many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Alex
  Wilson.
