R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, January 25, 2011, marked the 50th wedding
  anniversary of Judge Lester Crutchfield and Ireline Crutchfield of
  Abilene; and
         WHEREAS, Lester Crutchfield and the former Ireline Hicks were
  joined in matrimony in 1961; through the years, they have been
  blessed with a treasured family that includes three children, Tacie
  Motz, Zanetta Roam, and Leslie McComb, as well as eight
  grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, Judge Crutchfield served 16 years as Lamar County
  judge, and among his achievements while in that position was the
  extension of water service to the outer reaches of the county; the
  Crutchfields raised emu for several years and then built, owned,
  and operated TigerTown 1 Stop, a convenience store that served as a
  hub for the local community; when some residents were without
  electricity for three weeks due to a winter storm, the couple opened
  their home and their business to assist their neighbors in need; and
         WHEREAS, The 50 years of marriage that Mr. and Mrs.
  Crutchfield have shared is eloquent affirmation of the meaning of
  love and commitment, and their enduring union is an inspiration to
  all who know them; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Judge Lester Crutchfield and
  Ireline Crutchfield on their golden wedding anniversary and extend
  to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Judge and Mrs. Crutchfield as an expression of high
  regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
