R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Blake A. Vanier of Boy Scouts of America Troop No.
  752 in Cameron has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and this
  accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and
         WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is a significant
  honor, bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the
  scouting movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding
  criteria, Mr. Vanier earned the requisite 21 merit badges, and for
  his Eagle Scout project, he constructed the "Grace Divide," a
  50-foot-long wall with three windows separating the gymnasium from
  the dining and classroom area at Grace Church of Cameron; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Melissa and Mark Boyer and Charles
  Vanier, this fine young Texan has demonstrated outstanding
  leadership ability throughout his scouting career, winning the
  respect and admiration of his fellow scouts as he worked toward the
  highest rank that scouting offers; and
         WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Vanier's dedication to excellence and
  his perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him worthy
  to stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect with
  pride on a job well done; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Blake A. Vanier on achieving the
  rank of Eagle Scout and extend to him sincere best wishes for
  continued success and happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Eagle Scout Vanier as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
