R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The 65th birthday of an esteemed Texan is truly |
|
|
cause for celebration, and on April 14, 2011, Andrew Dean |
|
|
Livingston is marking this significant milestone in his life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of the Golden Triangle, Mr. Livingston was |
|
|
born in 1946, one of eight children of May Elizabeth Lions and |
|
|
Albert Sterling Livingston; he attended Bridge City High School and |
|
|
went on to serve his country with distinction in the Vietnam War; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Livingston is a self-employed carpenter; known |
|
|
for his kindness and generosity, he enjoys spending time with his |
|
|
son, Paul, and exploring the state's picturesque roads on his |
|
|
Harley-Davidson motorcycle; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The birthday of Andrew Livingston provides a welcome |
|
|
opportunity to honor this esteemed Texan for his myriad |
|
|
achievements and to remind him of the high regard in which he is |
|
|
held by a great many people; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Andrew Dean Livingston on his 65th |
|
|
birthday and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Livingston as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
