R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Seventh grade history students from Texas Middle
  School in Texarkana are visiting the State Capitol on March 4, 2011,
  to learn more about the government and history of the Lone Star
  State; and
         WHEREAS, With the 82nd Legislative Session well under way,
  the Capitol Complex is a source of great activity, offering
  visitors an excellent opportunity to see their state government in
  action firsthand; and
         WHEREAS, While in Austin, these notable Texans will tour the
  Capitol and increase their awareness of the fascinating history of
  this monument to freedom and democracy; they will also travel to San
  Antonio to celebrate the anniversary of the Battle of the Alamo; and
         WHEREAS, The Texas Capitol is an ideal setting for young and
  old alike to discover the rich heritage of the Lone Star State and
  to gain insight into the workings of our state legislature, and it
  is a pleasure to welcome members of the Texas Middle School
  community to Austin; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby commend the visiting seventh grade students from
  Texas Middle School on their interest in state government and
  extend to them sincere best wishes for an informative and memorable
  visit to the Capitol; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the group as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
