R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Loved ones are mourning the loss of Eulah Shaw Hill
  of Dallas, who passed away on February 26, 2011, at the age of 97;
  and
         WHEREAS, A native of Spring Ridge, Louisiana, Eulah Shaw was
  born on October 13, 1913, the seventh of 14 children of Will and
  Senfronia Shaw; she married Solomon Hill and the couple were
  blessed with two daughters, Willie Mae and Helen; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Hill enjoyed gardening and spending time with
  her family, which included many grandchildren and
  great-grandchildren; she worked for Chance Bold, making military
  products, and as a housekeeper; also active in her community, she
  served as an usher at her church and was a valued member of the Order
  of the Eastern Star; and
         WHEREAS, Eulah Hill lived a caring and purposeful life, and
  she will forever be remembered with deep affection by all who held
  her close to their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Eulah Hill and
  extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her
  daughters, Willie Mae Coleman and Helen Parks; to her 7
  grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 21
  great-great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-great-grandchild;
  and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Eulah Hill.
