R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Robert and Edna "Billie" Myrick of |
|
|
Greenville celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on February |
|
|
11, 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Myrick were united in matrimony in |
|
|
Greenville in 1966; through the years, they have nurtured a |
|
|
fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer with the |
|
|
addition of their daughter, Cindi Small; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, the Myricks |
|
|
are both retired; Mr. Myrick worked for E-Systems, and Mrs. Myrick |
|
|
was a teacher with the Greenville Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past |
|
|
four and a half decades, this devoted husband and wife have remained |
|
|
constant in their commitment to one another, and the strength of |
|
|
their love has enabled them to meet life's challenges and |
|
|
opportunities with grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Robert and Edna Myrick on their |
|
|
45th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Myrick as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
