R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Paul Huron IV of the Harmony Science Academy in San |
|
Antonio is compiling an impressive record of success in science |
|
fair competitions; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Huron's latest victory came at the statewide |
|
Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics 2011 event, where he |
|
received a grand prize for his project "Weapon System Visualization |
|
and Signal Analysis ID Program for Converting Audio Signals Using |
|
Fourier Transform Algorithms"; and |
|
WHEREAS, This triumph is the most recent in a long string of |
|
top finishes for this accomplished young Texan, who also claimed |
|
the Naval Award and the silver medal at the 2010 International |
|
Sustainable World Project Olympiad; and |
|
WHEREAS, A member of the National Honor Society, Mr. Huron |
|
maintains a 4.0 grade point average; moreover, he has attended the |
|
summer Nanoscience Academy Workshop at The University of Texas at |
|
Austin and the VEX Robotics summer camp; and |
|
WHEREAS, Paul Huron has proven himself a young man with a |
|
bright future, and he may indeed take justifiable pride in his |
|
achievements; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Paul Huron IV for his fine showings |
|
in science fair competitions and extend to him sincere best wishes |
|
for continued success; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Huron as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
