R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned five |
|
|
decades, Dick and Linda Murphy of Caddo Mills celebrated their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary on March 6, 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Murphy exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|
|
in Sullivan, Illinois, on that memorable day in 1961, and over the |
|
|
course of their marriage, they have found in each other a devoted |
|
|
life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Murphys count among their blessings a fine |
|
|
family that includes two sons, Rich Murphy and his wife, Lori, and |
|
|
Rod Murphy and his wife, Cindy, as well as five grandchildren and |
|
|
three great-grandchildren, with whom they treasure sharing the many |
|
|
special occasions of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past half-century, Dick and |
|
|
Linda Murphy can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and |
|
|
know that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that |
|
|
many more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dick and Linda Murphy on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Murphy as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
