R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at |
|
the death of Benjamin Palmer Bradley of Gladewater, who passed away |
|
on February 6, 2011, at the age of 24; and |
|
WHEREAS, A native of Prescott, Arizona, Ben Bradley was born |
|
on January 7, 1987, to loving parents Alton and Lind Bradley; he was |
|
blessed with two siblings, Aaron and Bethany, and a wide circle of |
|
loved ones, whose lives he brightened with his generous heart and |
|
abiding Christian faith; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Bradley was a former member of the ALERT Cadets |
|
and later enjoyed participation in the ALERT Eagle Response Unit |
|
and the Reformed University Fellowship at The University of Texas |
|
at Tyler, where he was a staff member of the Patriot Talon; he also
|
|
shared his time to benefit the youth of Kids Reach and was active in |
|
the congregation at Calvary Baptist Church; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although his journey on this earth was far too |
|
brief, memories of this caring Texan will forever endure in the |
|
hearts of those who were privileged to share in his love and |
|
affection; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Benjamin Palmer |
|
Bradley and extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to |
|
his parents, Alton and Lind Bradley; to his brother, Aaron Bradley; |
|
to his sister, Bethany Bradley; to his maternal grandmother, Betty |
|
Palmer; to his paternal grandparents, W. M. "Sam" Bradley and Hazel |
|
Bradley; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Ben |
|
Bradley. |
