R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Members of the State Republican Executive Committee
  are visiting the State Capitol on March 24, 2011; and
         WHEREAS, The State Republican Executive Committee is the
  governing body of the Republican Party of Texas; the committee
  works diligently to advance the issues of the GOP and serves as the
  liaison between the senate district and the state party; members
  meet to discuss party issues while helping to support local
  candidates; and
         WHEREAS, Among the delegation visiting the Capitol today are
  members from District 8, Candace Noble and Neal Katz, and from
  District 16, Paige McAleer and Daniel Pickens; these
  public-spirited Texans have assisted in the many endeavors of the
  committee, including vigorously seeking opportunities to register
  new Republican voters; and
         WHEREAS, By serving as deputy voter registrars and
  participating in get-out-the-vote efforts and other important
  initiatives, members of the State Republican Executive Committee
  are making a lasting difference through their political activism;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby welcome members of the State Republican
  Executive Committee to the State Capitol and extend to them sincere
  best wishes for an enjoyable and productive visit; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the group as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
