R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Coach Darrell Hagemann of McNeil High School in the
  Round Rock Independent School District reached a notable milestone
  in his career when he achieved his 400th win as a basketball coach
  with a victory over Hutto High School on December 11, 2010; and
         WHEREAS, Darrell Hagemann participated in all varsity sports
  while a student at Llano High School and graduated in 1980; after
  earning his bachelor's degree from Angelo State University, he took
  his first job in Belton, coaching and teaching at the middle school;
  he then became an assistant basketball coach at Westwood High
  School in Round Rock ISD before accepting his first high school head
  coaching assignment at Lake Travis High School; and
         WHEREAS, In 1992, Coach Hagemann was offered the opportunity
  to start a basketball program at the newly opened McNeil High
  School; today, he remains the only head coach the school has ever
  known, having guided the team for 19 seasons, and his impressive
  career win total now stands at 411; and
         WHEREAS, Coach Hagemann has had a profound influence on
  countless young people, preparing them for success both on and off
  the court, and he is truly deserving of special recognition for his
  exemplary record of achievement; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Coach Darrell Hagemann on winning
  his 400th career game and extend to him sincere best wishes for
  continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Coach Hagemann as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
