R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Harmony Science Academy of Fort Worth is providing |
|
|
an innovative, high-quality education to area youth; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Dedicated to shaping responsive, productive, |
|
|
civic-minded individuals, Harmony Science Academy of Fort Worth |
|
|
helps young people achieve their full potential in all subjects, |
|
|
with special emphasis on mathematics, science, and computer |
|
|
technology; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The institution maintains a 1-to-12 faculty-student |
|
|
ratio in an effort to promote enhanced learning opportunities; |
|
|
vital to its success are parental and community involvement, and |
|
|
students benefit from field trips and a number of extracurricular |
|
|
activities; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Amassing an impressive record of academic |
|
|
achievement, the school has earned the Texas Education Agency's |
|
|
highest ranking of Exemplary every year since its founding in 2006; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The administration, faculty, and staff of Harmony |
|
|
Science Academy of Fort Worth may take great pride in the strength |
|
|
of the school's programs, which are building a solid foundation for |
|
|
the future achievement of many North Texans; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Harmony Science Academy of Fort Worth |
|
|
for its exceptional efforts in behalf of its students and extend to |
|
|
all those associated with the institution sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the school as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
