R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the
  death of Jane Sellers of Wichita Falls on February 25, 2011, at the
  age of 89; and
         WHEREAS, The former Jane Neal was born to Leroy and Ethel Neal
  on October 17, 1921, in Duncan, Oklahoma; she graduated from
  Gladewater High School and attended the College of Marshall, now
  East Texas Baptist University, after which she worked for two years
  with the Department of War in Washington, D.C.; and
         WHEREAS, Jane Neal was joined in matrimony to Lee Sellers on
  June 12, 1943, in Riverside, California; the couple relocated to
  Wichita Falls in 1948, and Mrs. Sellers worked at Sheppard Air Force
  Base until the arrival of their first child; Jane and Lee Sellers
  became the parents of four children, John, Thomas, Amy, and
  Carolee, and enjoyed a rewarding union until Mr. Sellers's passing;
  and
         WHEREAS, Active in her community, Mrs. Sellers was a
  congregant of First Presbyterian Church of Wichita Falls; she was
  also a founding member, longtime supporter, and honorary board
  member of the Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra and a generous
  benefactor of many other organizations and institutions, including
  Midwestern State University, where she was named to the President's
  Excellence Circle; additionally, she was a valued member of the
  Cotillion Club; and
         WHEREAS, First and foremost, Mrs. Sellers was devoted to her
  family, whose happiness and well-being she put above all else; and
         WHEREAS, Known for her candor, intelligence, and dry wit,
  Jane Sellers brightened the lives of all those who were fortunate
  enough to know her, and she will be fondly remembered and deeply
  missed; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Jane Sellers and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
  children and their spouses, John Brazier Sellers and his wife,
  Beth, Thomas Neal Sellers, and Amy Elizabeth Furr and her husband,
  William; to her nephews, Michael Sellers, Skip Sellers, and Steven
  Neal; to her niece, Judith Neal; and to her other relatives and
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jane
  Sellers.
