R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned five |
|
|
decades, Jerry and Judy Pugh of Canton celebrated their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary on March 23, 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Pugh exchanged the vows of matrimony on |
|
|
that memorable day in 1961, and over the course of their marriage, |
|
|
they have found in each other a devoted life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The couple count among their blessings a fine family |
|
|
that includes three children, Alice Clements, Denise Daugherty, and |
|
|
Jeri Ann Weatherford, as well as four grandchildren, J. D., Jamie, |
|
|
Cody, and Kolemon, with whom they treasure sharing the many special |
|
|
occasions of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past half-century, Jerry and |
|
|
Judy Pugh can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and know |
|
|
that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that many |
|
|
more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jerry and Judy Pugh on their golden |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Pugh as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
