R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned six |
|
|
decades, Thomas and Ruth Taylor of Quinlan celebrated their 60th |
|
|
wedding anniversary on March 17, 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|
|
on that memorable day in 1951, and over the course of their |
|
|
marriage, they have found in each other a devoted life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Taylors count among their blessings a fine |
|
|
family that includes four sons, Mike, Richard, Mark, and Gary, as |
|
|
well as six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, with whom |
|
|
they treasure sharing the many special occasions of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past six decades, Thomas and |
|
|
Ruth Taylor can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and know |
|
|
that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that many |
|
|
more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Thomas and Ruth Taylor on their |
|
|
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Taylor as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
