R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Loved ones are mourning the untimely loss of Randall |
|
Turnmire of China Spring, who passed away on March 13, 2011, at the |
|
age of 53; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born on May 3, 1957, in Waco to Lyle and Evelyn |
|
Turnmire, Randy Turnmire was the brother of Michael, Phyllis, and |
|
Penny; he had worked for the past decade as an equipment operator at |
|
Mike Staas Services, where he was admired for his work ethic and his |
|
skills as a craftsman in several trades; and |
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan was blessed with an engaging |
|
smile, a ready laugh, and a sense of humor that brought happiness to |
|
countless people; and |
|
WHEREAS, Randy Turnmire shared a rewarding marriage with his |
|
wife, Pam, and treasured his family; he particularly relished his |
|
role as "Papaw" to his grandson, Mason; and |
|
WHEREAS, During his too brief journey on this earth, Randy |
|
Turnmire touched the lives of many individuals through his kindness |
|
and friendship, and he will forever hold a treasured place in their |
|
hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Randall Turnmire |
|
and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his |
|
wife, Pam Turnmire; to his son and daughter-in-law, Cory and Casey |
|
Turnmire; to his grandson, Mason Turnmire; to his sisters and |
|
brother-in-law, Phyllis Foddrell and Penny and Frankie Lacina; to |
|
his aunt, Hilda Newman; to his stepchildren, Kelly Mynar, Ray |
|
Tynes, Chris Machalicek, and Thomas Scarmardo; and to his other |
|
relatives and many friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Randy |
|
Turnmire. |
