R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Calistro |
|
Ramos of Waco, who passed away on March 12, 2011, at the age of 72; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Callie Ramos was born in McLennan County on October |
|
14, 1938, to Antonio and Maxima Vela Ramos; and |
|
WHEREAS, A multitalented musician, Mr. Ramos also enjoyed |
|
listening to music, hunting, and fishing; he was a member of the |
|
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waco; and |
|
WHEREAS, Known as a loyal friend and dedicated family man, |
|
Callie Ramos lived a caring and purposeful life, and he will forever |
|
be remembered with deep affection by all who held him close to their |
|
hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Calistro Ramos and |
|
extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife, |
|
Irene Ramos; to his children, Freddie Ramos and his wife, Mary, |
|
Janie Friberg and her husband, Charles, Pat Ramos, Alice Ramos and |
|
Rody Galindo, Lisa Baisa, Sonya Lozano and her husband, Mike, and |
|
Priscilla Nino and her husband, Santiago; to his sisters, Lucia |
|
Olvera, Mary Arjon, Sally Hernandez, Mary Ramos, Beatrice |
|
Hernandez, Jo Ann Ramos, and Jeanette Ramos; to his brother, Tony |
|
Ramos; to his 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and to |
|
his other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Calistro |
|
Ramos. |
