H.R. No. 1298
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Private Landus Hutyra of West has completed military
  police training with the U.S. Army in 2011, and it is indeed fitting
  to take this opportunity to recognize him for his exceptional
  commitment to serving our nation; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Sondra and Steve Stoermer and Charles
  Hutyra, Landus Hutyra graduated from West High School in 2010 and
  went on to train with the 787th Military Police Battalion, Echo
  Company, 3rd Platoon; and
         WHEREAS, This notable young Texan demonstrated commendable
  ability and dedication during his 19 weeks at Fort Leonard Wood,
  Missouri, surmounting the many physical and mental challenges
  presented as he studied warrior skills, military and civil law and
  jurisdiction, crime and accident investigation procedures, and
  more; he will now be assigned to the 698th Military Police
  Detachment of the Texas Army National Guard in Huntsville; and
         WHEREAS, Those individuals who give of themselves in defense
  of our country are truly deserving of the gratitude and admiration
  of every American, and as Landus Hutyra embarks on this new chapter
  in his life, it is a pleasure to honor him and acknowledge his
  achievements; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Private Landus Hutyra on
  completing military police training and extend to him sincere best
  wishes for continued success with his important work; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Private Hutyra as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
