R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The loved ones of Katherine Young Arrington of Waco |
|
|
were greatly saddened by her passing on March 19, 2011, at the age |
|
|
of 77; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of West Monroe, Louisiana, the former |
|
|
Katherine Wilhite was born on July 16, 1933, to Grady and Viola |
|
|
Wilhite; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through the years, Mrs. Arrington served as a source |
|
|
of wisdom and inspiration to her four children, Mike, Pam, Lori, and |
|
|
Glenda, and their families; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Although she will be deeply missed, memories of this |
|
|
beloved woman will be forever treasured by those who were fortunate |
|
|
enough to share in the richness of her life; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Katherine Young |
|
|
Arrington and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: |
|
|
to her son, Mike Franks; to her daughters, Pam Finkbeiner and her |
|
|
husband, Ted, Lori Roller, and Glenda McCreary and her husband, |
|
|
Greg; to her 11 grandchildren; to her 12 great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
to her other friends and relatives; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Katherine |
|
|
Young Arrington. |
