R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned five |
|
|
decades, Chris and Imogene Bell of Grand Saline celebrated their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary on April 7, 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Bell exchanged the vows of matrimony at |
|
|
West Mineola Baptist Church on that memorable day in 1961, and over |
|
|
the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a |
|
|
devoted life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Bells count among their blessings a fine family |
|
|
that includes two children, Rita Jones and Richard Bell, as well as |
|
|
five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, with whom they |
|
|
treasure sharing the many special occasions of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past half-century, Chris and |
|
|
Imogene Bell can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and |
|
|
know that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that |
|
|
many more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Chris and Imogene Bell on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Bell as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
