R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, James and Ruby Bagley of Midland |
|
|
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 23, 2010; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Bagley were united in matrimony in |
|
|
Sweetwater in 1960; through the years, they have nurtured a |
|
|
fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer with the |
|
|
addition of two children and their spouses, Jimmy and Mariann |
|
|
Bagley and Sherry and Mike Kerby, as well as five grandchildren and |
|
|
four great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Bagley retired following a notable career with |
|
|
Oryx Oil Co.; Mrs. Bagley is a retired nurse and homemaker; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While innumerable changes have taken place in the |
|
|
world during the past half-century, this devoted husband and wife |
|
|
have remained constant in their commitment to one another, and the |
|
|
strength of their love has enabled them to meet life's challenges |
|
|
and opportunities with grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate James and Ruby Bagley on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Bagley as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
