R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Greg Bergeron of Georgetown is retiring from his
  position as administrator of the Williamson County Unified Road
  System on April 21, 2011, drawing to a close an exemplary career
  with the State of Texas that has spanned three and a half decades;
  and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Bergeron spent almost two decades in Galveston
  County before beginning his 17-year tenure in Williamson County,
  where his many impressive accomplishments have included overseeing
  the consolidation of four road departments into a single system; in
  addition, he has served as president of the Texas Association of
  County Engineers and Road Administrators; and
         WHEREAS, In all of his endeavors, Mr. Bergeron is supported
  by his loving wife of more than 30 years, Suzanne, and his son,
  Jeffery; he enjoys hunting, golfing, and fishing and is an
  accomplished painter in oils and watercolors; and
         WHEREAS, Demonstrating leadership and professionalism
  throughout his career, Greg Bergeron has rendered outstanding
  service to the people of the Lone Star State, and he may indeed
  reflect with pride on his achievements as he looks forward to the
  next exciting chapter in his life; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Greg Bergeron on the occasion of
  his retirement as Williamson County Unified Road System
  administrator and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Bergeron as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
