R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The loved ones of Alinda Marie Fickel of Hewitt were
  greatly saddened by her death on March 21, 2011, at the age of 60;
  and
         WHEREAS, A native of West, Alinda Fickel was born on April 11,
  1950, to Bernard and Ruby Kocian; she graduated from Waco High
  School in 1969 and went on to marry Kenneth Fickel, with whom she
  shared four decades before her passing; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Fickel was devoted to her family; she was the
  proud mother of three children, David, Donna, and Diana, and she
  doted on her six grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, Marie Fickel enjoyed a life that was rich in the
  intangibles that matter most, and she is deeply missed by all those
  who held her dear; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Alinda Marie Fickel
  and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family:  to her
  husband, Kenneth; to her son, David Fickel; to her daughters, Donna
  Hislope and Diana Leutwyler; to her brothers, Roger Kocian and Mike
  Kocian; to her sisters, Lydia Itani, Delores Jones, and Elaine
  Shipley; to her grandsons, Logan, Dalton, and Kaleb Leutwyler and
  Casyn and Bryce Hislope; to her granddaughter, Rayleigh Leutwyler;
  and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Alinda
  Marie Fickel.
