R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, March 19, 2011, signaled the beginning of a new
  chapter in the lives of Jacklyn Nicole Sims and Christopher Blake
  Lackey, for on that day they exchanged their wedding vows and
  embarked on a rewarding journey together as husband and wife; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Sims and Mr. Lackey were joined in matrimony at
  DaySpring Baptist Church, in Waco, with Pastor Eric Howell
  officiating; loved ones sharing in the celebration were matron of
  honor Annalisa Peppard and maid of honor Meghan Anderson,
  bridesmaids Sydney Hampton, Kristen Segulja, Katy Haynes, and Paige
  Lackey, honor attendants Emily Reeves, Jennifer Coddou, Julieanne
  Taylor, Courtney Allen, and Anne Berry, flower girl Merril
  Stanfield, best man Chad Lackey, groomsmen Kevin Henry, Joshua
  Martinez, Logan Couch, Devin McKaskle, and Adam Sims, and ushers
  Wilson Peppard, Reese Gordon, Christopher Abrams, and Alex LaRue;
  and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Sims is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Sims
  and the granddaughter of Valasta Sims, the late Joe Sims, and the
  late Issac Jack Newman; Mr. Lackey is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Blake
  Lackey and the grandson of Johnnie Sada, the Reverend and Mrs. Louis
  Sada, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Bob Stanfield, and Vernon Lackey; and
         WHEREAS, A graduate of Vanguard College Preparatory School in
  Waco, Jacklyn Sims earned a bachelor of business administration
  degree in marketing from Texas A&M University; she is employed as a
  financial consultant and chartered retirement planning counselor
  at Wells Fargo Advisors in Dallas; and
         WHEREAS, Christopher Lackey is an alumnus of Pine Tree High
  School, in Longview, and Texas A&M University, from which he
  received a bachelor of business administration degree in
  accounting; he currently works at Holden & Parker, in Dallas, and
  serves as associate minister to middle school students at Valley
  Ranch Baptist Church, in Coppell, while pursuing a master's degree
  in Christian education at Dallas Baptist University; and
         WHEREAS, The nuptials of Ms. Sims and Mr. Lackey formally
  recognized a bond that has grown in love, respect, and mutual regard
  with each passing day, and it is indeed a pleasure to honor this
  fortunate couple; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Jacklyn Nicole Sims Lackey and
  Christopher Blake Lackey on the joyous occasion of their wedding
  and extend to them sincere best wishes for a lifetime of happiness;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
