R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, There are no words that can diminish the pain caused
  by a life cut short, but all the family and friends of Nathan Andrew
  Romo of Lorena will forever treasure their memories of this special
  young man, who passed away on March 8, 2011, at the age of 17; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Patricia Romo and Isaac Hernandez, Jr.,
  Mr. Romo was born in Waco on November 9, 1993; he was a sophomore at
  Lorena High School, where he distinguished himself on the gridiron
  with the football team; in addition, he was a member of the Young
  Marines; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Romo brightened the days of innumerable people
  with his warm smile and affectionate nature, and he always found a
  way to make others laugh; he was an exceptionally loyal and giving
  friend, and his generous decision to become an organ donor has
  allowed him to make an immeasurable difference in the lives of
  individuals he never met; and
         WHEREAS, Although he departed this world far too soon, Nathan
  Romo brought much joy to his loved ones, and his selflessness and
  compassion will remain a lasting source of inspiration; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Nathan Andrew Romo and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
  parents, Patricia Romo and Isaac Hernandez, Jr.; to his
  grandparents, Ramon and Leigh Ann Romo and Margaret Salazar; to his
  sisters, Briana Hernandez and Alyssia Ramos; to his aunts, Josie
  Romo, Barbara Hernandez, and Roxanne Fraga; to his uncles, Austin
  Romo, Ramon Romo, Jr., Mike Fimbres, Abel Salazar, and Juan Cano; to
  his girlfriend, Brikale Payne; and to his many other friends and
  relatives; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Nathan
  Romo.
