R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Young people who devote themselves to the pursuit of |
|
|
academic excellence are indeed deserving of special recognition, |
|
|
and Shelby Jurek of Hewitt has distinguished herself as one such |
|
|
individual; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A 2009 graduate of Midway High School, Ms. Jurek |
|
|
attends Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, where her |
|
|
commitment to her studies earned her a place on the Fall 2010 honor |
|
|
roll; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Shelby Jurek has demonstrated outstanding |
|
|
initiative and determination to succeed, and she may take pride in |
|
|
this most recent accomplishment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Shelby Jurek on being named to the |
|
|
honor roll at Oklahoma State University and extend to her sincere |
|
|
best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Jurek as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
